Most of the important dates in your life sit on a calendar where nothing happens to them until the day arrives. The quit date. The wedding. The flight. The race. The day the lease ends. They are loud in your head and silent in your inbox.
Countdown Buddy is the tool we wanted: a small ritual where the date you care about writes you a note every morning. The AI knows what you told it. The persona stays consistent. The message changes every day.
What we believe
- Time pressure is useful when it's specific. A vague "someday" never moves. A date with a daily email does.
- Generic AI is boring. We force you to give the AI context, because that's the only way the writing gets sharp.
- No social network. No feed. No algorithm. Just an email, every morning, until the day comes.
How it stays good
Every morning the AI rewrites your note with that day's remaining count, your persona, and your context. The persona is consistent — the writing isn't. You can edit either at any time from the dashboard, and the next morning's note picks up your changes.
